I remember in all the movies and books I’ve read where New York was the main character – because let’s face it that place always steals the show- a regular theme was finding – or trying to find love in the hectic rhythms of the city.
We went to New York this May for Michelle and William and were so pleasantly surprised to see that even amid high end careers and almost no time to sleep, these two managed not only to find each other but also to celebrate their love in one of the most beautiful and moving weddings we have ever attended to photograph.
And by the way, it was for sure a bona fide New York wedding. Our venue was the iconic Marriot Essex House and the couple chose Central Park for their first look. Quintessential Manhattanites both of them, they breezed through the traffic and the park without hesitation, with the help the bridal party for a magical moment by the Bethesda Fountain.
After the beautiful ceremony, the party was non stop with family and friends dancing to the music till last call. This is one of the times that I feel words are simply not enough, so hopefully you’ll get the vibe from what follows..
